Keeping the Art of Candle Making Alive...... One customer at a time.

I wanted to make a public, and heart felt Thank You to the members of our Apprenticeship Program and to the many Regular Customers of Candle Mold Vault. This morning over coffee, I was told that many of you talk amongst yourselves, and that Candle Mold Vault and myself are continually a topic.

It was made clear to me that so many of you think of us as a Mentor, Teacher, and Friend that can be trusted with passing along Anything to do with the art of candle making. That the consensus is that we are not simply here to sell items, make money and run. Even though making money/selling is part of what we do.

My Goal has ALWAYS been to keep this art alive, pass on the history of what we do, educate and to provide everyone with items that are hard to find in their original form anymore, and advance this art we all love. This has always been the case and will continue to be.

I want to Thank the many of you that see us and our purpose for what it is, and Thank you ALL for being a part in this!

Change in Apprenticeship Training Scheduling, More "JUST DON'T" Information, How may we serve your needs better?

We had a wonderful time with our Apprenticeship Training Program yesterday. Now why would I be surprised.  I think it time and time again, We are so lucky, to have so many wonderful customers! It is one thing to chat in email, or on the Phone, but to have you here and spend time chatting, and learning makes it all very clear....... We have the BEST Customers in the World!

Today we have another of the Apprenticeship Trainings.  YAY!    Now there will be a change in this schedule, I will not be able to do any more 3 day runs after this weekend. They are so intense for me, I try to pass along as much information as possible along with answer all the questions you bring along with you. By the time we finish a day session, I can only fall into bed, totally drained.

Please take this change of scheduled into account when you set up your Apprenticeship Training. Also, understand that these are not just verbal instructions,  We do everything hands on, side by side.... I feel this is a far better way for learning.  Rather than just handing out some print out instructions and answering a few questions. I want each of you to walk away feeling confident, and knowing exactly what steps and what order you need to do things.

Now, as to the warning we posted yesterday about Product safety, In combination with several other suppliers, we are going to continue to name names, Post warnings, and educate you to the risks. Not only from www.candlemoldvault.ca and www.candlemoldvault.com 's blog, But Other suppliers, Producers are doing the same. JUST DON'T!!!


We are still working on the inventory of all our Used Plastic Candle Molds, and wanting feedback on how you think we should deal with them. Should we list them all as a package?  Sell them as a Grab bag?  Let Steve know what you think.

Now, understanding that my weekends are full, I have not been able to get more Candle Molds ready for listing, So Steve has not had anything to list, Steve should be back to listing Monday, or maybe a few today.....

UPDATE:  I am going to mention something here, I fully do not have full details on as of yet, But I am left with the understanding that we may NOT sell or ship ANY of our New or Used Silicone Candle Molds to Europe as of the 20th of Next Month. My Understanding is that it has to do with NEW US Postal Rules going into effect as of that date.  My suggestion would be order and have those items shipped before that date. Sorry for the inconvenience this may cause.

Rest assured that we will be looking into this and let you know what we find.

Warning on Product Safety.... Add to your JUST DON'T List!!!!

WARNING:  In our effort to pass along information on Product Safety, we have been asked by several of our Customers to List Names of Companies that are selling known, Poison, hazardous, or tainted Products. We will begin this with someone that we have been told about many times that sells this poison on eBay....... Chawoorim. Please JUST DON'T!!

There is concern about not only the silicone products, but their clear plastic items as well...... tainted.  JUST DON'T!

Candle Finishing Apprenticeship's a HUGE Hit, Used Silicone Candle Mold Sale Continues, More New Candle Molds Added Daily!

Another Wonderful Day spent with Nikki doing the Candle Finishing Apprenticeship. It makes it so enjoyable when folks arrive ready to totally immerse themselves in Candle Making, and come with lists of questions and things they want to learn. I can then go over the basics, and zoom right in on things that are really important to the Apprentice. Thank you Nikki for spending the day here, and for all the laughs as we learned.

Today is Barb's day. and tomorrow is Carol's day. It would appear these Candle Finishing Apprenticeship's are catching on,  Just looking at my calendar shows another 12 already set up. I do of course Welcome others, but, dates are filling up....... so we may need to discuss dates that will be available at some point.

www.candlemoldvault.com and www.candlemoldvault.ca are super busy, which is normal for this time of year. Add to the normal order traffic, the Used Silicone Candle Mold Sale is really adding to the shipping load. It's plies of boxes stacked daily on the way to YOU, and our postal worker's mouth drops and then she smiles at each pick up.

More New Candle Molds are being added almost daily, and we are always here waiting to hear from each of our loyal customers with a new order.

More, More More, We grow everyday! ALL for you!

I love it!  Last night MSNBC showed the line outside of the Polk Co Elections office, several times. It was a nice long line most of the day. Nice to have that seen, and to know that SO many others were thinking and doing exactly what my group of friends and myself were. VOTE EARLY! FORWARD!

Today its back to work.  I get to welcome and work with another of our customers doing the Apprenticeship program on finishing candles.I am happy to be able to offer these Apprenticeship programs, and will be doing the 3 this weekend and it looks like my calendar is filling quickly for the weeks and months ahead.

These in person, hands on classes work very well when you also pick up your Candle Mold Packages as well, and get the chance to shop for extra candle molds while here. It also allows us to get to know you, your wants and needs. Plus a reduced price on the Apprenticeship training.

Apprenticeships, Just Don't Hosting, and more New Candle Molds!!!

This morning as I sat down to begin my work day, I did my typical email check. Well, I was a little surprised to find a request for a Friday Apprenticeship program day, Yes, tomorrow. I have not done 3 days of training with 3 different people before. But what the heck, I enjoy the days, so why not. So, this week it will be Friday, Sat, and Sunday.

I am headed out this morning to first have breakfast with a couple of friends and then we are all going down to the Polk Co. Elections office to early vote. I am happy I thought of doing it this way, friends, food, and voting! FORWARD!

Why don't you all do something like this, get together with some friends, have a nice visit, and all go vote together.

Steve has been busy adding New Silicone and 2 piece Plastic Candle Molds again, but as you know that is now an ongoing process, www.candlemoldvault.com and www.candlemoldvault.ca continue to grow to serve you.

BTW, I have not forgotten about my promised discussion of Web Hosting and GlowHost the scourge of the Internet.  I will get to this in the coming days.  Just avoid them like the plague they are in the meantime. Just Don't!
