New Option for Apprenticeship Training? Join the discussion.

Today I wanted to talk a little bit about www.candlemoldvault.ca and www.candlemoldvault.com and the Apprenticeship Training that we offer. We get many requests about this option, and one of the biggest questions is "I really want to know how to do .............., but I really can't make a trip to Iowa for this training" From the People that have already taken this, and my personal feeling on it, the BEST part is the time doing "hands on" step by step work, with someone that can guide and help you all along the way.

YES! we allow and Encourage that you bring a video recorder to your Training!!! Record it ALL, and use it to play back to learn and practice what you have been shown.

Up until now the way we have been doing this has worked very well for all involved, as they were wanting the training, to see exactly what we do here, and to pick up large orders for Silicone Candle Molds. As you know we even offer an excellent discount on the training when you are buying one of the Business Packages.

But we do understand that not everyone can make this trip to learn. With that in mind, I would like to begin a discussion on how we can expand this training, still be able to offer the techniques, and still do some quality control, making sure each that takes this training knows what they are doing, and feel comfortable doing each and every part of the process.

Another option for this training is welcome, however it wouldn't change the cost. Now, I can send printed step by step directions. It would need to be the all inclusive training, not simply this or that technique. With the idea of "phone or email" questions, as part of this.

Please understand, this is not information we offer in our normal course of business, we produce and sell candle molds.... and are here to offer support with that to everyone. Candle Finishing is a separate operation from our main business. So, Please, don't ask Steve for help in this area. You are always welcome to ask Steve about other options available for this training.

Steve has informed me that many are opting to use a payment plan for the training courses as well as purchase of Candle Molds. So, to discuss this option please talk to Steve, he is more than happy to work with you to make arrangements that can fit your budget!

While on this subject yesterday was a wonderful day of Apprenticeship training. I enjoy these so much and lucky I do, my weekends are fully booked now and into the New Year. I can and will allow some 3 day weekends, but my choice is to keep this very limited (I Do have a lot of other work here )

Finally, we do require this and all of our Training to be pre-paid, and that you understand it is non-refundable. If an emergency were to happen after payment and scheduling, we will work with you to set up new dates for your training.

UPDATE:  It is important to mention here and Now, NOT everyone that requests the Apprenticeship Training will be accepted. We retain the right to reject anyone for any reason.

Happy CandleMaking!

UPDATE:  I want to thank all of you that are calling or emailing with ideas and options that could work with our Finishing Candle Apprenticeship.  Really GREAT ideas!!!  Here is a sample..... Consultation on an hourly rate.  Releasing Video's of the whole day of what an actual training day is about. Maybe selling them in sections by Technique. And, Printed Directions could come with.  Keep these GREAT Idea's coming folks!!!!  This is information/training you WONT want to be without!!!!  So please help me find a good way to do this.
